Continue reading and stay tuned because this news is for your business!

What is an Intercompany?

The term InterCompany is used to refer to companies that are part of the same group, such as head office and branches. In other words, it is an “inter company” between companies that are interconnected.

To understand how this works in practice, let's use an example. Imagine that, in everyday life, InterCompany allows you to configure and execute transactions between companies in the same group (head office and branches).

Transactions such as: replicating partner registrations, items, payment methods, stock transfers, among other operations.

With InterCompany, this exchange of information will always occur in real time, without the need to export or import data, which also simplifies your registration management.

How to replicate data between databases?

To maintain two or more identical databases, ensuring data replication by InterCompany, companies do not need to be located in the same country.

To do this, you just need to have an agile management system that replicates the data and makes it easier to view information and records on a single screen.

Example: if your head office has a product and needs to register it in its database and that of its branches, with InterCompany, you only need to register it once and use data replication.

This will keep data standardized and up-to-date, streamlining this previously manual, now batch-based process.

What objects are available for replication?

There are several business objects available for replication.

Among them, we can highlight:

  • NCM Code
  • Banks
  • Item
  • Price List
  • Special Prices
  • Item Ownership;
  • Business Partner Groups;
  • Users;
  • Contacts;
  • Coins;
  • Payment Methods;
  • Manufacturers;
  • Import Expenses;
  • Salespeople;
  • CNAE codes;
  • Among others.

And more: from the data replication configuration it is possible use the document copier, which allows them to be transferred from one company to another, avoiding rework and speeding up processes.

I.e…

With InterCompany, you don't need to change databases to search for information about your branches. You can see all the information in real time, on a single screen, simply by using the registration replicator.

Our replicator is integrated to SAP® Business One and facilitates the replication of records of various business objects, such as warehouses, business partners, salespeople, etc.

With it, we simplify the way of managing transactions between the same group of companies, such as headquarters and branches, in addition to ensuring a greater control and visibility of operations carried out among this group.

Benefits of InterCompany

An important update to this tool is the issuance of consolidated Financial and Accounting Reports, such as: Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, General Ledger and Income Statement. Through these reports, information is viewed in a single document, allowing consolidated analyses of the group.

If you don't have our solution yet, you would certainly have to log into each company database to create the inventory report, for example, and only then would you be able to know how much you sold or what is missing.

With our solution, Intercompany, you increase your performance and we automate your company's operational control.

InterCompany Features:
